Target Market Determinations

Attention: open in a new window. Print

From 5 October 2021, we need to comply with a new law under the Treasury Laws Amendment (Design and Distribution Obligations and Product Intervention Powers) Act 2019.

This has been introduced to ensure the right products are recommended to the right members, by focussing on them in the design and distribution of our financial products.

One of the requirements of the new law is to create a Target Market Determination (TMD) for each financial product we offer.

What is a Target Market Determination (TMD)?

A TMD is a document that describes:

  • The consumer for which the product has been designed
  • The conditions around the product’s distribution
  • The events or circumstances where we may need to review the TMD
  • When the TMD will be reviewed
  • Recording keeping and reporting obligations of distributors

Please note a TMD is not intended to provide financial advice. When making a decision about a product, please refer to the Terms and Conditions and any supplementary document(s). These will outline the relevant terms and conditions being provided under that product.

How can you view a TMD?

We have listed all our TMDs below, they have been set out in their product categories.

If you have any issues, please contact us on 13 24 40.
