Apply online

Applying online is quick, easy and secure. To apply online, you must be at least 18 years of age and an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. If at any time you would like to stop and save your application, you can retrieve it at any time.

As a part of your application, we need to perform an identity verification check. To enable us to do this, you will need to have at least one of the following documents handy:

  • Current passport
  • Drivers Licence

Unity Bank / Reliance Bank takes data security seriously and at times we may need to use biometrics (face recognition technology) for your protection. If this is required you will receive an SMS including a link from a third party ‘VERIFYID’ which uses this technology to scan, read & compare your identification.

Apply in person

Membership application forms can be completed when you call into the branch. You will need to bring along proof of your identity in order for us to open your account. Documents produced need to be originals or certified copies of originals.
